Our double glazed interior storm inserts are manufactured using an aluminum framework that is ⅜” thick, 15/16” wide, powder coated and painted with 4 different color options. The glazing is a very special 4.3 Mil. thick optically crystal clear film that is UV stabilized, rated at -33 degrees and shatterproof. 

Double Glaze Window Process
The double glazing is the secret to you experiencing true thermal efficiency at near energy star levels. It is creating two new dead air pockets, which is the ultimate window insulation. The first dead air space is from your window glass to the interior storm window and the second dead air space is ⅜” gap space between the two layers of glazing film.
